You can get a prescription for dark tint. I have had one in two states now. If you look here:[ http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Consumer_Info/auto_statelaws.html ] Click on State Law Chart and you will see to the right which states allow a medical waiver. You can get a prescription for your eyes and for some skin diseases. I have mine for photophobia: [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photophobia ] Depending on the state you can get different waivers or prescriptions. In VA even with the waiver/prescriptions you are only allowed a certain percentage of tint and can even tint the entire windshield 70%. VA also lists this one your registration. In WV it was whatever the doctor recommended but you had to have the prescription on you at all times and you had to be in the car. So if someone else drove my car, they could get a ticket, but if I was in it, it was ok. L8r, Kevin
